Line Cook - Full Time for Summer - Private Club (Deli Experience Required)
Wilton, Connecticut
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook with deli experience to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate speaks fluent English, can manage their own station, prepares food efficiently and consistently, and works well in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
Operate grill, salad, and fryer stations efficiently during service
Manage and maintain assigned station(s) independently
Coordinate inventory needs and communicate shortages or prep requirements
Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation practices
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
Assist with prep, service, and breakdown as needed
Qualifications:
Previous line cook experience required
Experience on grill, salad, and fryer stations required
Deli experience strongly preferred
Ability to speak and understand English
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Schedule: Requires evenings, weekends, and holidays.
