Lauren Peden

Owner & Chef

Since 2009, Chef Lauren Peden and her team have brought exceptional food, seasonally inspired menus, and genuine hospitality to clients throughout Fairfield County.

After training at the French Culinary Institute in New York City, Lauren founded Simply Delicious Catering. Together with her mother and longtime business partner, Tracy, she grew it into one of Fairfield County’s most sought-after catering companies.

Based in Wilton, CT the business now includes a dine-in café, storefront, private event space, and full-scale catering operation - all grounded in thoughtful service, beautifully prepared food, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Our Food Philosophy

We believe in fresh, wholesome cooking made with all-natural ingredients. Sauces, stocks, and baked goods are prepared in-house, and we source from Connecticut farms and local purveyors whenever possible.

Our team creates custom menus tailored to your event, tastes, and dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free options.

We use separate equipment for gluten-free preparation and do our best to accommodate allergies and dietary concerns. Please note that we are not a nut-free facility, and some items may contain dairy, eggs, soy, gluten, fish, or shellfish.
